This animation is one chapter in WENEW\u2019s online storytelling project &#8211; an anthology piece that brings together content from a wide array of platforms, to tell the story of storekeeper Wagmi and his shop 10KTF. The short film covers the origin of Wagmi, a shopkeeper in New Tokyo. Through this flashback we learn about the establishment of his first store and the conflict that comes from this success. The visual approach is inspired by the fragmented nature of memory, brought to life by a collage of different elements in the same frame. This hybrid comic book \/ video approach draws attention to the small details &#8211; the ones that connect us to the core of Wagmi\u2019s story.
